The Bursa city erected against the thermal power plant project aiming at burning 1200 tons of coal per day in the center of the city of Bursa and the DOSAB Thermal Power Plant No Platform created by the academic profession chambers, health professional organizations, trade unions and non-governmental organizations against the project was established. DOSAB Thermal Plant's No Platform, which is also a member of the Fossil Fuel Initiative, finally won the rightful struggle for 2.5 years. The Project's Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Report was canceled on May 23, 2016.
