The Natural areas Conservatories network is involved in the management of 152,788 hectares spread over more than 2,921 French sites. The Conservatories of Natural Areas are non-profit associations. They actively contribute to preserve nature and landscape heritage of France by a concerted approach and their territorial anchorage. Their interventions are based on four foundations: knowledge, protection, management and valorisation.
