The agglomeration of Rodez reports the experiences of fifty families who tested three months the solution of adopting two chickens in his garden to significantly reduce the production of waste. Decreases of 47.8% of waste per family, equivalent to 140 kg per year, have been observed. This is a win-win situation for everyone, as vegetable waste and some expired fresh products can be delivered to chickens and thus limit Drastically the share of what is thrown away.
